The Alameda County District Attorney's Office charged an Antioch man with felony assault on a child causing death in a case in which prosecutors said a toddler died in December. An Antioch man is charged with assault that resulted in the death of a child. Keonte Harris, 22, of Antioch was charged on March 1 in connection with the death of 2-year-old Ja'mari Madkins, according to Alameda County court documents. Load Error The case began to unfold on Dec. 23 when the San Pablo police made a traffic stop and found Harris with a 17-year-old girl, according to a source close to the investigation.
